"Dollars for Dugouts" Thanks

On behalf of the Concord High School Softball Booster Club, I want to publicly thank the following individuals and organizations for their contributions to the "Dollars for Dugouts" fundraising campaign that made the construction and installation of new softball dugouts at Memorial Field possible in the spring of 2011: Michael Goldsmith in memory of William Goldsmith, "Anonymous" CHS Softball 1984 Team Captain, Julia Boynton, Maureen and Robert Laflam, Concord American Little League, Brian Chase, Karen and Joseph Kennard, Sally and Robert Crosby, Karen and David Morrill, Cindy and Robert Baker, Jr., Duke Sawyer Family, William Lucius, The Sloper Family – "Bat Girl Trish", Chris Kane, Rachel and Ronald Morin, The Dale Emerson Family, Carol and Bill Boynton, Gerda and David Stevenson, Stu Beckett, and Flipz Gymnastics (Robyn Grant).

In addition, the Concord High Softball Booster Club contributed $5,000 to this project, which also involved utility relocation and new concrete slabs for the dugouts. The beautiful new dugouts, which will serve the Concord Community for many years to come, were constructed by Concord High building trades students under the direction of instructor John Hubbard.

Thanks also to Concord High Athletic Director Steve Mello and City of Concord Recreation Director David Gill, and past Softball Booster Club Presidents Chris Kane and Rob Hansen for their contributions in making this community project possible.
